Yandamoori seems to have a great fascination towards nostalgia that he frequently switches between past and the present like in most of his other novels too. But in the Epilogue, the book seems to acknowledge what the Protagonist believed from the start If the author is going to contradict what he preaches throughout the story and end it in a different note and in the Epilogue nods to the Protagonist's behavior I don't understand the reason for the philosophy. Even though the book talks about various things happens in a life of a man who detaches himself from Human emotions and as a typical Indian Cinema towards the climax a Woman changes his heart and behavior, especially his perception towards mankind. Although, I enjoyed this book I'm not sure why the author wrote the Prologue and Epilogue. The book discusses about the existentialism, Beliefs, Human relationships and much more. This novel is also said to be the retelling of French Philosopher Albert Camus' "The Stranger". Since, I can't read Telugu but understand Audiobooks came as a blessing. Even though the book talks about various things happens in a life of a man who detaches himself from Human emotions and as My first ever Telugu book.

This is my first read of Shri Yandamuri and I have a feeling that his other books will rush into my library in the next few weeks. The story is moving and makes the reader question himself. The author’s take on emotions, love, selfishness and others is highly thought provoking. With almost a few tears in my eyes, I say this book’s protagonist sounded like myself.
